A fun couple-hour ride along Hwy 92 through Granite Falls, up a picturesque mountain valley along a curving road. Approximately 120 miles round trip.

Starting at Harley Davidson of Seattle go north on Evergreen Way and take a cross street east to I-5.
Proceed north along I-5 to Hwy 2 in Everett and go east over the Hewitt Ave trestle.
Take the left fork at the end of the trestle marked Lake Stevens/Granite Falls.
Go 2 or 3 miles to Hwy 9, turn north and proceed on Hwy 9 to the Granite Falls/Hwy 92 intersection.
Turn right along Hwy 92 and enjoy the ride. In about 8 miles you will be in Granite Falls.
At the second light turn left/North continuing along Hwy 92. There is a fish ladder about 4 miles from town, just before you pass over the first river. Stop and take a look.
From there to the end of the paved road is about 30 more miles. Relax and enjoy the ride. Just follow the main road over some old steel bridges to the end.
Remember especially on weekends and evenings the local sheriff is trolling for speeders. Also look out for wildlife on the road.
