Ride Information: Chapter
rides are scheduled the first Saturday and the third Sunday of every
month. There
maybe additional rides scheduled throughout the year so please check
the HogCall newsletter, visit the website at
www.gnw-hog.com,
call the Ride Hotline, or obtain a copy at the monthly Chapter meeting.
General
Ride Departure Information:
Please arrive with a full tank of gas and an empty bladder
at least 15 minutes prior to the ride departure time to participate in
the pre-ride presentation. The
rides will leave the Harley Davidson of
Seattle
location promptly at
9:00
(during Daylight Savings) and
10:00
(during Standard Time). If
you arrive to participate in a ride and you are new to the GNWHOG
Chapter or you haven’t ridden with us before or you don’t know the
Road Captains, please introduce yourself.
We try to get around and say hello to everyone but if it’s a
big group, we could miss you so please introduce yourself.
There maybe different departure times on some rides to
accommodate the ride destination so please confirm the departure time
for each ride.

Ride Cancellation Information:
If a ride is cancelled due to weather conditions or for any
other reason, there will always be a RC at HD of
Seattle
prior to the scheduled departure time to deliver the message to the
participants in person.

Ride Skill Information: If
you ever have questions about a specific ride, please contact the
RC
’s for that ride.
Every ride offers different elements so in order for you to be
fully prepared mentally and physically for a particular ride, please
make sure you understand the differences to provide the safest riding
experience for yourself. “Ride
your own Ride!”
Road
Captain Information: New
Road Captains are selected whenever there is a need within the
chapter. Anyone
interested in becoming a Road Captain can request an “Application
packet” from the Head Road
Captain. Please submit your application anytime prior to
the RC training dates.
(Please meet at
9:00
at the Buzz Inn-across from HD of Seattle for breakfast and a brief
question and answer session before the training activity begins.)
The approximate training period should be completed by
approximately
3:00 pm
on those dates.
Group
