Chapter Meeting January 11, 2007-02-04

 

 

The meeting was called to order at 19:00 by Assist Director Brady.

 

The Officers for 2007 were announced:

 

Dealership sponsored items were:

 

1)      Jan 13th Ride Straight Ride at the Dealership

 

2)      Jan 27th Down Bike Seminar Starts at noon.

 

3)      February 10th Hog Pen Dance at the Dealership.  Starts at 19:00-22:00 Membership is $24.00

 

The dates for our bigger Chapter events were announced

 

1)      Tumbleweed  July 27, 28 and 29

2)      Bike show July 27, 28 and 29

3)      Bunny Run April 1

4)      Chapter Picnic Aug 18 or Aug 25

5)      Christmas Party Dec 8

6)      These dates will be entered onto the web site.

 

Membership report as of January.  66 new members, 61 members gone and 907 members at the end of the month.

 

Road Captains report given by Linda Road Captains introduced. There is a ride Jan 21st, the “Somewhere ride”  One on February 3rd, the “Gerbing Ride”  The Gerbing ride will leave HDofS at 08:30.

 

Safety Officer Report by Linda-She has made up copies of the hand signals we use they are available.

 

Outside Chapter rides that were discussed

 

1)      9th Annual Teddy Bear Run-Sponsored by South King County Chapter of Alky Angels.  It is on February 11th, 2007 Sunday.  They request you bring a small to medium size NEW stuffed animal to donate to the Auburn Regional Medical Center for the Children coming through the Emergency room or having surgery.  There will be a luncheon buffet.  The group will leave the South King Alano Club at 12:30 p.m.  That is located on 1317 Harvey Road, Auburn WA.(253) 939-6541 Parking is behind the Bally’s Gym.

2)      THE GWTA CHAPTER E attended our chapter meeting to promote their WING WASHINGTON – 2007 ride.  More info is on the web.l

Treasurer-We have $4,400.00 The Christmas Party cost $3,492.00
