Old Business
Treasurers report – 2006 y/e $4415 and as of 2/28 the balance is $6398
Bunny Run –
April 1st leaving Harley-Davidson of Seattle at 09:30
Barrel is
at dealership if anyone would like to drop off donations.
Cathleen
will contact either Jimmy Jacks or Ellersicks for an after run lunch. Ellersicks will be contacted first to see if
they can handle the lunch with various menu items in the $6.00 range.
RC will
contact East Side to verify and invite them
once again. Mary Ann will be the Bunny.
Picnic
discussion – Date settled for Sunday
August the 26th starting at 13:00
If at the
masons they have the Nile
Temple which has a nice
park setting, located at the
King/Snohomish county line. Other
possibilities will be looked into. Games
this year will more of a team sport, i.e. base ball with a waffle ball. Linda will talk it over with the RC’s to
possibly form a chapter ride to the picnic.
Bylaws
committee – On track to having their first meeting
soon.
Tumble Weed
5 – Last weekend of July
Next meeting of the Committee is Friday the 9th.
The big red Barn has been rented. Band will be chosen soon, server are still in
the running. The caterer has been chosen. Designs must be turned in no later
than Friday. Friday night the design will be chosen. Suggestion of wearing
Western Wear would set the theme
just right. A car will be provided to transport the larger items again this
year. Brady will find a cage with driver even if he has to bribe them.
POT – All seven
participants are registered and ready to go.
Brady will have HDofS print a hundred or so HOG CALLS for the occasion.
New Business
News Letter – There was a question of mailing the news letter to other HOG Chapters. It was decided to continue mailing to them in
the hopes they will return their
news letter to us. No one on the board is aware of any newsletters being returned
to us. Walt will contact the printer to get
a cost of printing now that the list of mailed copies has dropped to so few.
Harley
T-Shirts – A past member, now deceased, had a collection of old t-shirts that
his wife has dropped off at the dealership. Cathleen has volunteered to turn
them into a quilt; she has the supplies and will be asking for help from other
members who might be quilters. Raffle tickets
will be printed and sold at $5.00 with the drawing to take place at this years
Christmas party.
Cathy (Big
Foots wife) has asked if anyone would offer her a ride to the chapter meeting. LOH Cathi has offered to contact her and
offer to pick her up.
Timber Line
Motel Sports in Leavenworth
sent a letter to several in our
group which was read by Brady. They said stop by and say hi, they will help out
our Chapter members if they are in need, at a discount.
Mount Baker HOG – Wants to form an All Chapter Picnic (includes 8
chapters). The event is in the planning stage right now with plans to have it
in South Snohomish
County or North King County, a park will be chosen. They
suggested $50 per chapter or $2 per person.
Dan –
Motion to pay the $50.00 so any member of GNW-HOG could enjoy. Michael
seconded. 10 for and Patt was the lone holdout.
Motion passed. A letter will
be returned to Mount Baker HOG
asking when to send the $50. Roger will send them a check when he returns. The date is Sunday July 29th at 13:00.
This could be joined on the return
from TW5 or attended by other members who might not be making the TW5 journey.
